The honeymoon photos from Texas Gov.
Karen Glenn’s (R) mansion may be the best yet for the first lady, according to a photographer.
The photos were snapped during the Texas mansion’s “Big House” vacation.
“It was an amazing moment when I first walked in, and then when I saw the pictures, I thought, wow, it is definitely my favorite picture ever,” photographer Brian P. DeBello told The Huffington Post.
DeBello was visiting Glenn’s house for a wedding.
He says he shot the photos with a Nikon D800E DSLR camera that cost him about $4,000.
“She’s a real star, so she’s really, really cute,” DeBella said.
“And when I was shooting it, I was thinking, oh my god, she’s such a big deal.
She was so pretty.”
The photos have been posted on Instagram and Facebook, garnering more than 7,000 likes and more than 11,000 comments.
“That was just a wonderful experience,” De Bello said.
Glenn’s daughter, Claire, attended the same wedding.
“I just think that she was just so lovely,” De Bella added.
“She’s just so beautiful, and so much fun to be around.”
The mansion is in Austin, which is home to a number of famous Texas personalities including the state’s attorney general and the Texas Rangers.
Glenn, who is a former Republican, was reelected in November with 57 percent of the vote, according the Associated Press.
The mansion was renovated by Glenn’s husband, former Texas Sen. Rick Perry, after she was elected in 2014.
Glenn has been photographed there with Perry before.
The mansion is a popular tourist destination, and DeBelli says the photos capture “a lot of the charm” of the Texas capital.
“When I saw them, I knew it was a good one,” De Boellos said.
