Honeymoon grills have been a popular tourist activity in France for decades.
Now, they’re finally coming back in style with the launch of a new brand.
Paris-based Honeymoon Grill, named after the honeycomb-shaped grill that served as a wedding ring for Marie Antoinette, is launching its first ever kitchen in France.
The company, founded in 2010, has already won a few awards, but its biggest milestone is the launch last year of a French honeymoon registry.
A new honeymoon grilling menu is now available at many restaurants in France, including a menu of French dishes from the Honeymoon Registry that includes everything from smoked salmon and crab claws to fried duck with mashed potatoes and creme fraiche.
You’ll also find a full menu of honeymoon brunch dishes, including the traditional French dish, fried chicken and eggs with lemon and herbs.
And the restaurant is offering a $50 voucher for a second honeymoon meal, so you can check in for the first meal and plan your own next one.
It’s a little too good to be true, right?
If you’ve been thinking about a honeymoon in France recently, here’s a quick checklist of things to keep in mind before you get to the restaurant.
