The Princess of Wales is among the celebrities who have posted a series of tweets to mark her 50th birthday.
“I’ve always been so excited for this special day, and now I’m just as excited to meet everyone I’ve met over the years.
Thank you all so much for being my biggest fans,” the actress wrote.
“Thank you for being the best.
I love you all and I will always remember the first day I met you.
I will never forget.”
A source said Princess Diana, who has a two-year-old daughter, had posted the tweet on Saturday to mark the occasion of her birthday, which falls on Saturday March 21.
“Thank you all for being such amazing fans,” Diana tweeted.
“You will always be a part of my life and memories forever.”

The royal couple were seen at the reception at the palace where Princess Diana was born, along with Prince Charles, Princess Eugenie and their eldest daughter, Diana.
Diana has previously said that she is not a fan of the media, and that she has been treated like a celebrity for years.
A source close to the royal couple told the BBC that the Princess had not wanted to be photographed, and said she would not speak to the press during the trip.
“She is very protective of her privacy and her family’s privacy,” the source said.
She has also refused to be interviewed by the press.
At the royal wedding in 2019, Princess Diana gave a short speech in which she revealed her pregnancy to her parents and other guests.
But the news did not go down well with many people, with one Twitter user writing: “We know that the public has been left behind by the Queen and Prince.
We feel that Princess Diana’s privacy and personal wellbeing should never be compromised by the media.
We will not be letting her be photographed.”
In another tweet, Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, was also among those to voice her opposition.
“There’s a lot of people out there who don’t think Diana is a princess, and a very brave, brave person, but the public deserves to know who she is and what she has gone through,” she wrote.
“And if you are a fan, it’s time to go out and celebrate Diana’s birthday with her.”
