Posted October 06, 2018 06:03:30 The honeymoon in the picturesque Maine town of Bangor is the most beautiful thing you will see when you get there, according to a new Disney World trip planner.
The picturesque town of 10,000 has become the home of many Disney World vacation destinations, including the Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Animal Hills and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Spa.
A trip planner says the attraction at the town of just over 11,000 is the happiest place on earth, according the Disney Parks Blog.
The planner, Jennifer Schmieding, was traveling to Maine in early November when she decided to plan a trip that included two nights at Bangor’s Walt Disney World Resort.
Schmiesing says the first night was perfect because it was the first time she had spent her whole life in Bangor, Maine.
She says she and her husband, Michael, have been spending most of their vacation time in the town since 2007.
In addition to Walt Disney, Schmiers are also on board with the new Disney Imagineering project that is aimed at creating a world-class Disney theme park.
“This is really the best part of the vacation for me,” she said.
“The town is great, and the water is wonderful.
And it’s the best of all the things that you can do in the parks.”
Schmier says her husband has been very excited to see the new Walt Disney Imagineers and the excitement for the attraction has been overwhelming.
“When I first went to Walt’s house and saw the attraction, it just blew me away,” she says.
“I just couldn’t wait to come back.”

Schmierers husband Michael, a senior architect at Walt’s Hollywood Studios in California and a longtime Disney Imagineerer, has been an avid Walt Disney fan since he was a kid.
“There are people that have been working on this project for years and years, and they’re the ones that are making it happen,” he said.
The plan for the second Disney World honeymoon includes two nights in Bangors Walt Disney Villas Resort, a $50-a-night villa that includes a spa, a private bar and a full-service bar.
“It’s a really good time,” Michael says.
Schmiied is also excited about the new Imagineering work being done at Disney’s Hollywood Studio.
“Imagineers have been around for a long time, but this is the first year they’re really doing something really special,” she explains.
“We’re looking forward to it.”
In the video above, Schmiers husband Michael explains what he likes about the plan: “It has so much character.
It’s a very relaxing place to be.
You’re able to really see the scenery.”
Michael Schmierer has been visiting Bangor since 2007 when he first moved to the town to visit Walt Disney.
